Omaha Hockey Player Skill Ratings
The Omaha Club teams have founded a committee for play ratings.  All the major club teams and tournament directors are members of the committee currently. Eventually we will have all club teams involved. We are in the initial stages at this point. This committee will provide input for the play database we have been using: http://www.ehonu.com/playerskill/

Some history… In 2017, just after the Stars and Sticks tournament was over, the players skill database was created. Currently it includes over 2,300 Metro and Regional hockey players. The objective of the Database is to record both in town and out of town player’s skill level. The Database is a tool to help keep the level of play fair, games competitive and assure that players are playing in the appropriate division. The Database includes the following information: Player name, Players skill rating, Past division played in, Current league level, Club name, City, Jersey number, and Last tournament played in.

The ratings that are currently in the Database have originated from 5 different sources: Hockey Finder Ratings, MCHL League Level, Previous Tournament Ratings, Skills Committee Input, and Club Captains

Right now, what we are looking for is your opinion of yourself. How good do you think you are? Read the descriptions on the next page and let us know what you think you should be rated at.
