Mondays in the Park Volunteer Sign
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Mondays in the Park, a pared-down, weekly, summer continuation of Salt Lake Arts Council's "Living Traditions Festival"!

Beginning in 1987, Mondays in the Park has featured performances from various multicultural communities of Utah. Free concerts of traditional folk music and cultural dance are presented on selected Monday evenings in the summer. Performances are held starting at 7:00 p.m. and run until 9:00 p.m. in front of the Chase Home Museum in the middle of Liberty Park.

7/17 - Harp Irish Dance and Ngoma Y'Africa Cultural Center
7/31 - Max Godfrey and Salina Hill
8/07 - Honey Rhonda DuVall & Little Feathers and Pennyland
8/14 - Chitrakaavya Dance and Cumbia llegal
8/21 - TBA and UT Chinese Folk Orchestra
8/28 - N8ve Hoops and TBA

Volunteers will support Mondays in the Park through two major roles: Greeters and Artist Assistants. Greeters will help set up the Info Tent, answer basic questions and provide printed materials to attendees. Artist Assistants will help with Artist load-in/out, stage transitions, and Green Room management. All volunteers are asked to help maintain overall friendliness and cleanliness of the festival :)
