Why do you want to volunteer on-site for DARNA? *
There are three ways you can help as a volunteer at DARNA - Animal Care, Building & Maintenance, and Advanced Building and Maintenance. Below are some examples of things you might do for each of these areas (this is not a complete list*)
Animal Care
- Picking up poop/scooping and replacing litter
- Cleaning and sanitizing animal areas
- Cleaning and refilling food and water bowls
- Walking dogs
- Bathing dogs
-      Brushing animals
- Laundry
- Sorting/organizing donations and supplies
-      Playing with and socializing animals


Building and Maintenance
-      Digging trenches for wall installation
- Bricklaying
- Rendering
- Tiling
- Painting
- Carpentry
-      Landscaping

Advanced Building and Maintenance
-      Solar panel maintenance
-      Van/Caravan maintenance
-      Plumbing
-      Roofing

NOTE REGARDING TRANSPORTATION
IF TAKING THE TRAIN: We are able to pick up (10AM) and drop off (2PM) one van load of volunteers from the Xativa train station.  We have limited space in the van, and these seats must be reserved ahead of time by writing to volunteer@darnaanimalrescue.org. If the slots for van transport are already taken, please sign up to come on a different day.  


IF CARPOOLING -  You can allow us to add you to the Carpooling Whatsapp group, where you can coordinate rides when offered.
