Community Permaculture Days
Join us for Permaculture classes in July in the North Fork Valley in western Colorado! We are offering Community Permaculture classes on Wednesday July 13th and Saturday July 16th - register for both or for individual classes.

Registration Required: $50 Registration fee per class day, $90 for 2 classes

Local, organic Lunch included in each class day!

Wednesday July 13th
Animals in the Permaculture System
with Emily Hartnett, Pat Frazier & Mark Waltermire
at Thistle Whistle Farm
Hotchkiss, CO
10am - 3pm

Learn how animals benefit the ecosystem of the farm and garden with a focus on animal forage systems, pasture improvement, pollinators, fire and pest control, stacking functions, and symbiotic interactions.

Saturday July 16th
Social and Community Permaculture
with Kris Holstrom, Pat Frazier, & Wind Clearwater
at Peace & Plenty Farm and The Oasis
Hotchkiss, CO
10am - 5pm

This class day will focus on the economics of permaculture, sharing the surplus, eco villages, social permaculture, community mapping, community sustainability, and supporting the local economy. Special Guest Kris Holstrom from Tomten Farm in Telluride, CO. We will spend the morning portion of the class visiting and discussing local food forests and learning basic permaculture principles for the farm & garden.
