Here are the 8 candidates for The League -- Spring 2023. Each team needs at least 4 enrolled students including the founder(s) in order to be formally accepted.

- Achord - A platform for matching music students to music teachers based on factors to foster genuine connection. Founder: Maximilian Douglass.

-Booster - Allows artists to boost their social media presence by sharing streaming revenue with those who help them grow. Founders: Jordan Rivera and Jacob Dodd.

-Caralyst Health - An AI powered physician recommendation engine and matching platform that helps patients find doctors, and also provides physicians and insurance companies with granular analytics and feedback. www.caralyst.io Founder: Owen Zhang, Matthew Millett.

- GEMS - An AI-driven publishing company that focuses on children's media. https://tinyurl.com/leaguegem Founder: Don Soffer.

-Magnify - A recruiting platform to help companies hire non-traditional talent. We use AI to translate job-seekers experience into structured skill blocks, and then match them to open jobs. Founder: Sydney Nagorsky.

-MBA Notion - A high-quality, affordable MBA admission consulting service currently targeting Indian applicants to navigate the application process to help with resumes, brainstorming, essay, storytelling, networking, letters of recommendation, and interviews. https://mbanotion.com/ Founder: Satyajit Bhowmik.

-Mend - A platform that supports the circular fashion economy through connecting individuals with clothing repair and redesign needs to local seamstresses and designers. Founder: Olivia Baba and Nisha Mani.

- Yitzy - A platform that helps friends connect more deeply online by sharing mood logs and prompted journal entries. Founder: Joseph Merkadeau.

I understand this 3-credit hour class meets formally 4-6 PM on Wednesdays.

I understand there will be additional weekly team meetings and work to be done outside of class each week

I understand that if I'm accepted into the class that means another student was not (due to the high interest). As such if I accept a spot on team I will give 110% effort.

I understand that working with a team over the course of the semester is in exchange for course credit and not for equity in the company. Equity is a conversation to be had after class is over and not during.
