All young adults who are 18+ and will be one year post high school (as of June 2023) are eligible to apply for a paid staff position at Spirit in the Pines Camp next summer.
We are looking to hire 1 CNA / Health Care Manager 14 program staff members working as groups of 4-5 in Squads (Ages 18+). We are also looking to hire 1 Kitchen Assistant and 1 Maintenance Assistant (Age 19+ with one year camp experience). We are able to provide the needed administrative support through local staff at St. Andrew, and we are
hiring Assistant Directors this summer. We are also offering 6 paid "add-on's" that each consist of an additional weekly task set. Anyone applying for a program staff position can also apply for one of these 6 additional responsibilities. EMPLOYMENT DATES: All positions run from May 30 - August 15, with 12 hours of required online training to be scheduled during the month of May on Zoom. All positions include 2 days off per week, taken continuously or broken up as 16 hours over multiple days. Additionally, everyone can request up to 4 paid days off for vacation or illness.
REQUIREMENTS: Must possess good physical stamina with long hours and the majority of time spent outdoors.
