The goal of DI Mentorships and Hybrids is to foster meaningful connections, support, and friendships on APDA for minority debaters across different institutions. We all know debate can be a difficult space to get to know people, so we'd like to help! The DI committee will use your responses below to match you with a hybrid or mentor from another institution.

Hybriding would includes partnering with your match (typically from another institution) at a tournament. We are hoping this might blossom into a mentorship which can look however the people paired want it to, but we would recommend activities like: getting a Zoom coffee/lunch, helping with case writing and editing, proamming together, practice rounds, and more!

We encourage both varsities and novices to apply! We appreciate everyone who chooses to apply :)
