Advocacy Program 2020
If you're between the age of 18-30 and have an interest in making a difference to the future of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and gaining valuable experience in the Arts, we invite you to apply for a position as an ASO Advocate. Advocates (our ASO ambassadors) are a key part of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra family and perform a number of duties across the year. Being an Advocate comes with responsibility and commitment, and before completing your application please consider the following expectations:

- Fortnightly meetings
- Light concert duties
- Support and engagements at ReMastered events
- Representation as an ASO Ambassador
- Organising activities for engagement throughout the year

The purpose of an Advocate is to share experiences and promote access and exposure to the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra by inspiring an interest in orchestral music and breaking cultural perceptions around audiences who enjoy it.

For your commitment, you will be rewarded with exclusive perks and opportunities including meetings with artists, opportunities to write for our blog and social media, and a 2020 Live Pass membership. This is your chance to contribute and gain valuable experience.

This is a volunteer position, and we understand that at times you may have conflicting commitments. We are able to make leave for these as they arise.

Applications will close on Fri 31 Jan, 2020. Applications will be assessed, and interviews will be carried out with shortlisted candidates. A result will be delivered by the end of February.
