MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR BLACK TRANS QUEER INDIVIDUALS AND THE GREATER TRANS COMMUNITY PROJECT.
RaricaNow is a non-profit organization with the sole aim of Promoting Human Rights for all LGBTIQ+ refugees and newcomers in Canada, raise awareness about the current gaps in service and struggles for this unique population.
This project is in support of primary Racialised Black members of 2SLGBTIQ+ communities to meet the increased needs of the Transgender and non-binary Folks. It aims to meet the needs of particularly vulnerable Black Transgender folks, Refugees and Newcomers by offering virtual mental health sessions with support workers, sharing information and resources via an e-new letters and Mobile application and by ensuring food security and other basic needs are met. And most importantly to provide Direct Aid to the Pioneers of the gay movement through BLACK TRANS EMERGENCY SUPPORT FUND to address the impacts of COVID-19 that have highly isolated and impacted the mental health of Transgender people.

This Emergercy Support fund is specifically a vailable for Black Transgender and non-binary folks in Communities with in raricanow scope.  For more details please visit; www.raricanow.org


This Projected is funded by Red Cross Covid-19 Emergency Support for Community Organizations Granting Program led by ESDC was approved to fund MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR BLACK TRANS QUEER INDIVIDUALS AND THE GREATER TRANS COMMUNITY.
