Get involved with SYP Oxford as a College Ambassador!

The Oxford branch of the Society of Young Publishers is run by a group of enthusiastic and friendly volunteers who put on regular speaker events, socials, and much more for people interested in publishing. We've hosted interview masterclasses, monthly Oxford book-clubs, and networking events, helping aspiring young publishers to develop their professional skills and gain industry insight.

Being a College Ambassador for SYP Oxford is a brilliant chance to get involved in a low commitment role for a few minutes each week. As College Ambassador, you'll work alongside the SYP Oxford Student Reps to promote branch events to your college and via JCR/MCR Facebook pages. We're looking for enthusiastic people with an interest in publishing, and who are keen to share ideas on what events they would like to see as students. You'll be the first to hear of all SYP Oxford events, and it will be useful experience if you want to apply for a committee position next year!

We welcome applications from students across the University, from any degree level, subject or past experience.

We're ideally looking for one JCR and one MCR ambassador for each college on a first come, first served basis - but you can always apply the next time around!
