Child Protection Response Team Training Pre-Survey
School-based, internal child protection response teams are part of a comprehensive child protection or abuse prevention program in your school.  These are not the external experts who might assist on a case.  Internal response teams are made up of a variety of roles and expand and contract in size depending upon the case.  They include the child protection designate and deputy, as well as key senior leaders, counselors, HR representatives, those responsible for vulnerable groups, such as students with special needs, and those responsible for activities and trips.

Response teams are responsible for assisting with safety planning and information gathering in the event of a child protection concern.  They do not make the final decisions about a concern, but rather might make recommendations to the final decision maker.  Response team members might change and should be chosen by personal suitability as well as role.  They should receive deep training in child protection prevention and response.

This objective of this survey is to inform our training content. The answers and the data will be used for statistical analysis only.  School name is requested to identify duplication.  Thank you for taking time to answer.  Your answers are important to us.
