Want to visit the Spartanburg Science Center with a school group, church, group, homeschool group, etc? Schedule your self-guided field trip today! During your self-guided field trip you will be able to explore the Science Center at your own pace with your group. Staff members will be there to answer any questions or show you around if needed.
Self-guided field trips can be as long or as short as you would like, but most groups typically stay between 1-2 hours with us.
Cost is $5 per student and chaperones are FREE (Up to 5 chaperones free. Over five chaperones will be $5 per person)
The best days to visit are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because we are closed to the public those days which means you get the center all to yourself! If you would prefer a Thursday or Friday you may have other guests present during your field trip.
We can accommodate up to 50 students at once during a self-guided field trip. For groups larger than 50, you will need to break the groups up into different time sections.
