Kwanzaa is a time for unity, reflection, celebration, and helping our Black community to thrive.  As such, we at Safe Black Space continue to practice the spirit of Ubuntu, "I am because we are," through our Kwanzaa Kutoa Event. We will honor seven Black families/individuals in the Greater Sacramento area who are in need of support during these times. Nominees should demonstrate Ubuntu and/or at least 1 of the 7 Kwanzaa Principles (described below).
