Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Salary: up to 20 millions (VND)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
An account manager is the liaison between an agency and its clients. You oversee the agency-client relationship, determine clients’ needs what they’re looking to achieve short-term and long-term and ensure the agency delivers.
The primary responsibilities of account managers are to:
1. Foster client relationships
2. Handle client communications and write client reports
3. Work with sales and creative teams to prepare presentations and sales pitches
4. Design marketing strategies and media proposals
5. Communicate winning projects to cross functions
6. Supervise the clients’ delivery
7. Monitor budgets, spending and revenue, and explain cost factors to clients if any.
8. Manage project budget to ensure P&L delivery
Additional duty is responsible for identifying new clients and potential business opportunities as well as upselling products and services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Great business sense and the ability to work to budgets
- 1+ year experience in account management
- Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities
- Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Confidence and a persuasive manner
- Tight organizational and time management skills
- Being available and timely with communication to build trust and keep accounts (clients) up to date
- Attention to detail
- Great business sense and the ability to work to budgets
- Ability to anticipate customers’ needs and match them with appropriate products and services
- Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A keen observer of society and trends, specifically among clients’ target audience, and possess financial management skills
