Children First Summer Internship Application
Children First Campaign seeks to recruit high school and college interns to work with the non-profit organization between June 6th and August 5th.

The Children First summer unpaid internship program is in its 10th year and many of our past interns have been accepted to major colleges and universities.

Interns will work to promote literacy through various summer literacy activities. Along the way, you'll have the chance to learn about project management, event planning, marketing, and community outreach. You'll also hear from inspiring speakers and discover the valuable services provided by Kern County. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience while making a positive impact.

Interns are expected to attend weekly meetings every Thursday, 3:30-5:30 P.M (6/6 - 7/25).  This will culminate to creating a week long activities event week for the community 7/29-8/2. Additionally, interns will participate in two Food Distributions (These dates are worked into the schedule of dates below). Please double check you can make all listed dates.
