UMD Non-degree/Guest Registration Application

Submit your application to enroll as a guest student if you want to register in a class for credit, but are not officially admitted to a degree program at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

You will be contacted via email by UMD Office of the Registrar within 2-3 business days regarding the status of your request.


Note: Students active at another University of Minnesota campus should complete the Multi-Institution enrollment process instead of this form.

TUITION & FEES
  - By registering for classes, students enter into a legally binding contract to pay all tuition and fees, including any non-refundable fees. See Finances for additional information.

  - Financial aid is typically not available for guest students unless you are required to complete prerequisite courses before admission to an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program . Contact  One Stop Student Services.

  - Tuition and fees must be paid in full on or before the first semester billing due date. If your account is not paid, you will be dropped from classes. This applies to all guest, non-degree students.
  - Be aware of important Dates and deadlines.
  - Billing notifications will be sent to your UMN email and available in your MyU portal.
