The EECERA Student Research Award is open to postgraduate students with appropriate status from any recognised university whose research is aimed at developing early childhood policy or practice.
All entries will be reviewed against a set of academic and scholarly criteria; the application exhibiting the highest standards of scholarship and originality will be presented with the EECERA Student Research Award at the Closing Ceremony of EECERA 2019.
In addition, the winner will receive:
โข Free EECERA membership for 2020 which includes hard copies of every issue of Volume 28, plus full access to the entire online journal back catalogue
โข Subscription to TWO Taylor and Francis journals of their choice for one year
The research is not restricted to any particular methodology and entries can be submitted by an individual or a group, however, the research project should be nearing completion or have been written up within the past three years.
You MUST be presenting your research at the upcoming EECERA Conference in Thessaloniki in order to qualify for the 2019 award. As you have already submitted a 250-word abstract, to put yourself forward for this award we require you to submit an enhanced abstract (up to 3,000 words) which will allow you to expand on each of the sections within your original conference abstract.
