JOIN US FOR A FREE, LIVE, VIRTUAL CONFERENCE ON TRAUMA AND RESILIENCE - ALL ARE WELCOME!

RESILIENCE RISING is targeted to educators, service providers, treatment professionals, parents, and community members interested in building more trauma-informed and resilient communities.

David Woods Bartley, TED Talk Speaker and Steinberg Institute 2021 Mental Health Champion, will share his Keynote Address,  "Rising from the Ashes of Trauma; My Journey from Violation to Victory", his powerful story of resilience after suffering childhood adversity and subsequent years of depression.

Guest Speaker Bob Bowen will present on  "The Matrix of Needs: Safety and Resilience", a compelling new approach to understanding human needs, informed by years of neurobiological research, 80 years after Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

A special presentation with Ping Ho, Founder and Director of UCLArts & Healing, an organizational member of the UCLA Integrative Health Collaborative, will engage attendees in an interactive drumming session designed to bring social emotional learning into homes, classrooms, and community spaces.

Afternoon workshops led by national experts will be offered in three different tracks: Parents/Caretakers, Treatment Professionals, and Educators.
