Trip scholarships are reserved for families experiencing financial hardship.  Our goal is to meet the need for all requesting families, but AHS is unable to fulfill 100% of requests. All families are expected to contribute to the cost of their student’s trip. Students enrolled in Free & Reduced Lunch will be asked to pay a minimum of 10% of the trip’s cost.

Visit the USDA Website to learn more about the Free & Reduced Lunch program.  By using these criteria for determining the scholarship amounts, we avoid collecting more detailed kinds of financial information from AHS families.  And, the more students who are enrolled, the more federal dollars Austin High School receives.  To pick up a Free & Reduced Lunch application, go to the main office at AHS or visit the AISD Website for an online application.  Applications for Free & Reduced Lunch are accepted by AHS throughout the year.
