NC Community of Psychotherapists Provider Listservs Application
This form is for North Carolina-licensed professionals practicing psychotherapy anywhere to apply to join the NC Community of Psychotherapists Listservs (fully operational) and Service Directories (in development).  This is a multi-professional group of psychotherapists of all theoretical orientations that exists to build community, list/learn about upcoming events, and to facilitate referrals for NC-licensed psychotherapy practitioners who provide services virtually and/or in-person in North Carolina.  Only NC-licensed psychotherapy providers are permitted to join (i.e. interns/students and pre-licensed professionals are not accepted at this time).   Metro area-specific and affinity group-specific listservs are granted access to appropriate applicants.

As of May 2025, we have more than 4,000 members state-wide.  Please share the link to this form with any NC-licensed psychotherapist where ever they live!

All members are admitted to the State-wide email listserv/web forum, and to Metropolitan-area subgroups they live in/near as they request.  Additionally, there are many affinity subgroups that you may subscribe to once in the groups.io system.  Please see the selection below, but you will need to add yourself directly.  Please only subscribe to these groups if you belong to the affinity group (rather than as an ally):

Notice of Recommended Donations
At this time the listservs and directories are funded by donations only.  We suggest (but do not require) a $15/year donation per member.  A link will be provided to you through the group once you are admitted.  Donations are currently accepted through North Carolina Therapy Professionals, PLLC's billing system, but go entirely to costs associated with hosting and administering the listservs and directory services.  Any funds exceeding these costs are going towards funding a non-profit soon to take over all management of these resources.
