CEEISA Young Scholars Initiative (CYSI) is a mentoring scheme designed for self-defined ‘early career’ scholars within the International Studies profession attending the CEEISA conference in Rijeka.
As a two-part event, with a dedicated panel and a post-conference writing retreat, CYSI aims to foster collaboration amongst early career researchers, facilitate engagement with differing theoretical and methodological perspectives and capacitate interaction with established senior scholars, who will serve as mentors.

The CYSI will be organized by the CEEISA ExCo and CEEISA PhD network and will take place in person.
We kindly ask you to apply by filling out the following form if interested in participating.
Due to the dual nature of the scheme, we kindly ask you to mark which events you wish to attend, but please note that to participate in the post-conference workshop, participation in the conference is also required. We therefore kindly ask you to provide an abstract of the topic/paper you plan to be presenting on in the first section of the form (abstract).
