The 2023 Fourth of July Riverfest Parade will begin at Bales Park, then continue south on 2nd Street, a left on Clark then a right on Main. Line up begins at 8:00 a.m. at Bales Park (2598 N. Main Street, St. Charles, MO 63301) on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please mark your calendars for a mandatory meeting 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Bales Park Pavilion.
PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE APPLYING
1. An organization's name may only be displayed if they submit a parade registration form.
2. Each organization must submit a separate entry application/fee.
3. All vehicles and signs must be provided by entrants.
4. Fireworks and confetti are not permitted.
5. All trash must be removed from the start location (Bales Park) upon the start of the parade.
6. No floats will be permitted to join the line-up after 9:30 a.m. in Bales Park
7. The parade will continue rain or shine. If lightening is present, further instruction will be provided.
8. All parades entries need to be below 13 feet tall
9. Fun at the parade is vital but safety is also! Kids are in danger when they retrieve candy from the road near floats. Please be mindful when distributing candy into the crowd.

DESCRIPTION OF PARADE ENTRY - PLEASE BE SPECIFIC
All parade entrants must submit a drawing, photo and/or a detailed description of their parade entry (including float specifications) with this registration. All parade entrants should decorate their vehicle or float with a common theme appropriate for Independence Day. Parade entries that are deemed to lack a common theme appropriate for Independence Day or which are aesthetically unappealing will be rejected and asked to submit a new drawing/photo/description.
This parade is for entertainment purposes only. It is not designed as a forum for political, social, religious, or economic ideas or doctrines. St. Charles City/County elected officials, St. Charles City/County political candidates, St. Charles City/County state representatives/senators, and St. Charles City/County state representative/senate candidates are permitted to take part in the parade. U.S. Senate and U.S. Representative candidates are not permitted in the parade. Political candidates are not permitted to hand out materials related to their campaign. Branded t-shirts from float participants and branded floats are permitted. The parade committee shall, in its sole discretion, determine whether an entry is appropriate for this parade. The parade committee reserves the right to reject any entry if not in an established category for uniformity set forth in the guiding rules.
