Garlic Mustard Gathering
Saturday,
April 15 – Saturday, April 22nd Earth Day
What: Stewardship event focused on invasive species
removal from the landscape. Participants will choose the time(s)
they wish to head out on the KVR to an assigned garlic mustard (GM) area and
pull and bag as much GM as possible. As bags are filled, they will
be tagged with the participant or group name and left in a designated location
for pick up. KVR Staff and volunteers will retrieve the bags and
store them for the weigh in on Saturday, April 22nd. Weights of
gathered plants will be announced, and prizes given, and progress celebrated.
