Advocacy - will inform and educate PTA members on issue and legislative priorities at the local, state, and national level.
Art Coordinator- assist the art teachers with art night and with the art fundraiser.
Council Delegate- attend Katy Council membership meetings 5 times a year and reports back to the board membership. **Serves on the KDE PTA board** 
Dragon Science Program - help organize and assist in providing a hands on science experience with fun science labs for our dragons.
Fall Fundraiser- help the VP of Fundraising to carry out our fall fundraiser
Mother/Son Event - help plan and execute event
Fifth Grade Party- help the coordinator execute her plans for the event
Friends of Dragons (Sister Schools) - helps plan and deliver fun treats for our sister schools
General Volunteer - available to help with special projects, whether they be at school or take home projects.
Graphic Design/Publications- design and produce print materials, graphics and forms as needed.
Healthy Lifestyles-  serves as liaison between the PTA and the school on health issues. The chair serves on the CATCH team at Davidson and attends Student Health Advisory Council meetings a few times a year.  Volunteers are needed to execute healthy lifestyles programs.
Holiday Shop - Organize and assist with a Holiday shop store for students
Homeroom parent- works with the teacher to have classroom volunteer needs met.  Serves as liaison between the teacher and classroom parents.  Emails updates to the class as needed.  Helps plan and execute class parties.  Schedules parent readers if needed
Hospitality - helps the VP of Volunteers and the Hospitality chair to execute events through out the year including teacher appreciation week
International Night - helps the chair to execute an event which showcases different countries and cultures at our school
Junior Achievement- teaches students basic concepts of business and economics through a set curriculum.  
Library - assist library staff with check out, return, and re-shelving of books.  Help students find books to check out.  
Lunchroom - help students open food containers, and assist the lunchroom staff as needed.  
Father/Daughter Event- help plan and execute with the chair
Music coordinator-assist and support the music staff with Sing-a-grams and other Music nights
Off- Campus volunteer- I will help when I can.  Can help cut/count or with other projects at home in the evenings or on weekends
Parent Reader in the classroom- not all grades and classes will have parent readers.  Please check the box if you are interested.  
PE & Read, Deed, Run - helps the 4th and 5th grade RDR program to execute all projects and events and helping our PE coaches as needed.
Reflections-assist and support the art program throughout the year
School Supplies - help the coordinator to organize and distribute school supplies with high school volunteers
Spirit Nights - Organize and promote Spirit Nights at various restaurants and businesses in the community. Works under VP of Fundraising
Spirit Wear - help the chair to sell spirit wear at various events
Sponsorship - Assist VP Fundraising in attaining sponsorships
Trunk or Treat Event - Help plan and organize a KDE Community Trunk or Treat event
Watch D.O.G.S - Dads of Great Students. Dads spend a day at school helping the classroom, library, morning announcements and more! Select if you'd like to be added to this email list for more info.
Workroom- cut, copy, and laminate materials for teachers in the Workroom. Training for machines will be provided.  
Yearbook - help the yearbook Chair and team organize, design, photography, or sell the school's yearbook.
