Interventions: Ignite is Northeastern Scout’s sixth annual one-day design experience where new ideas come ablaze. Through a series of presentations, panels, and workshops, we seek to illuminate our hidden potential while burning away rigid approaches to design. Furthermore, we will explore the ideas of 1) igniting creativity from within, 2) igniting creativity from the medium, and 3) igniting creativity through the practice. We strive to surpass existing expectations, kindling connections and breakthroughs in our practice. Interventions: Ignite is a showcase that will spark passion, connection, and discovery among creatives new and seasoned.
Lightning Talks: Student Speakers
We welcome self-nominations for student speakers from current university students from all institutions, disciplines, and fields to present their creative academic, personal, and professional work in the form of a poster. Posters should align with our three speaker tracks (more details below). All lightning talks will begin with a short speaker biography followed by a 8-10 minute lightning talk. Upon acceptance, our team will follow-up via email to share additional details regarding the speaker presentation.
Of course, we will be providing all student speakers with a complimentary ticket, lunch, and swag bag for their time!
