Intro to Sex Positivity for Positive People Event

July 21 from 6:30-8:30pm Pacific Time, Courtney Brame, Founder of Something Positive for Positive People (SPFPP) and Jamie Cawelti, the Executive Director of Sex Positive World (SPW) will co-facilitate a 2 hour long virtual event introducing the SPFPP community to the expansive communication and educational resources within the SPW community. Our intention is to welcome folks positive with HSV (Herpes Simplex Virus) into a sex positive space where we can commune not exclusively based on our herpes status. Both Jamie and I have found this space to be inclusive and receptive to challenging stigmas and stereotypes based on society's mainstream definitions of sex. This is a space to be intentional about our own growth and serves as a shortcut to self-education on topics we aren't but should be taught about long before having to challenge our identities around our sexuality through a herpes diagnosis.
