Prestigious Fellowships are nationally competitive, merit-based awards that help students achieve their goals (e.g., Fulbright, Rhodes, etc.). There are opportunities to study abroad, conduct research, pursue careers in public service or social justice, pursue a postgraduate degree, and much more. More information can be found on our website:
https://www.fau.edu/fellowships/.
Nomination by a faculty or staff member makes a significant difference in whether a student decides to pursue a prestigious fellowship. Please provide details for your most exceptional student(s) who you believe have the potential to be competitive for a fellowship. Successful applicants not only have a high GPA but also a diverse academic profile, including but not limited to research, public service, leadership experiences, and/or advanced coursework.
After your submission is received, your student nominee(s) will be notified by email, with a copy to you, the next steps including an advising appointment with the Prestigious Fellowship office and/or FAU fellowship representative.
