As a volunteer chapter coordinator your role will include one unpaid event a month to help you connect with your local community, Facebook + social chapter engagement, booth activations as per your availability, as well as on ground assistance during fundraising and partner based events.  How does this all sound?

Our ideal Chapter Coordinator is organized, and follows through with execution. They are extroverted, bubbly, and are able to stand up, emcee and help manage events in front of a crowd. Or, they build a local team that helps them with being the face of the chapter. This person is the first person to smile and say hi when someone walks through the door. They are not afraid to go up to someone, introduce themselves and start a conversation.The ideal chapter coordinator knows their local market, are driven to help populate events. They want to grow their local community, and are a community builder - ready to work to see this growth.The ideal chapter coordinator is passionate and driven, kind and inclusive, and is bursting with excitement with the thought of joining our team. The ideal Chapter Coordinators would live a life in line with our organization values. We believe collaboration is always greater than competition, so we are looking for coordinators who support, encourage and amplify other individuals within their community. Your role as a volunteer would involve one free event a month (approximately 2-3 hours preparation + the event), social media engagement, booth activations and our quarterly town hall meetings. We get that everyone has a life, and we want to protect and honor yours! However we do have a minimum commitment, stated above. We ask for your participation for one full year as we will be investing time into your mentorship.
