The purpose of this survey is to obtain parent input on the reopening options for the school district this fall.

Heath City Schools staff are working with the Licking County Health Department to develop a reopening plan for the 2020-2021 school year.  The current plan will consist of two options. Families can elect to send their child to school on a full-time basis, or they can elect to have their child attend 100% remotely. If they choose the remote option, they must commit to this for one semester at a time.

Considerations:  This plan will focus on student and staff safety, and delivering a high-quality education where students are challenged to learn and grow every day.  Social distancing will be emphasized in this plan, staff will be required to wear masks when they are around students and colleagues, and students in grades 3-12 will be required to wear masks when in the building or on the bus.  Time will be allotted during the day for hand washing and/or hand sanitizing, and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the buildings.  Cleaning regimens will emphasize deep cleaning and sanitizing at multiple times throughout the day.
