Why do you want to be a mentor to an aspiring Latino administrator? *
Program requirements for the 2021-22 OALA Aspiring Administrator Leadership Program:  *It will be required that mentor and protégé pairs meet face to face/virtually a minimum of four times.  Other forms of communication include phone, text, email, virtual, etc. will occur on a biweekly basis.  * It is the responsibility of the protege to reach out to their mentor. If this is not happening, please communicate with one of the facilitators. *Throughout the relationship between protégé and mentor, the mentor should offer the following support to their protégé: instructing, guiding, counseling, role modeling, validation, motivation, communication, tutoring and coaching.  *The mentor should have the ability and knowledge to select the most appropriate role necessary at the time. *Mentors will submit an electronic summary on their protege update to Carlos Perez at perezcmax@gmail.com . *
