Solo performers, duos and full bands of all genres
are encouraged to apply to perform for the Winter 2023 MMC Artist Spotlight Series in partnership with the The Mall of America. These in-person concert events will take place on select Thursdays in January, February + March, 2023. Each concert event will feature 1 act, with the performance running from 5pm-6pm.
Applications will be reviewed by MMC and Mall of America entertainment staff, and you will be contacted by MMC's booking manager if you are chosen for a performance slot. These concert events will be presented in the Huntington Bank Rotunda (Level 1, East). These are paid performance opportunities.
The Mall of America will provide:
- A performance space/stage
- PA system (includes mixer, main speakers, iPod connection, mic stands)
- (3) Area Microphones (small diaphragm condenser mics)
- (2) Wireless handheld Mics
- (2) DI Boxes (Passive)
- (1) 20amp power drop
- Piano (positioned on the floor to side of stage)
- Stage Monitors (1 or 2)
- Access to power
Artist is required to bring all other necessary instruments and equipment. A sound technician will be provided by the Mall of America for this performance.
Travel reimbursement may be available for artists traveling further than 25 miles for this gig. Artists are NOT able to solicit tips or sell merchandise at the venue. MMC and the Mall of America are asking that performances remain family friendly, and that artists refrain from swearing and overt religious/political speech during the performance.
PLEASE NOTE: All artists must adhere to the current Stay Safe Plan COVID-19 protocols. DEMO SUBMISSION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS. Artists must also complete a Mall of America tech document + release form at least a week ahead of the performance.
