Ridgeway is a school known for parent and family support! We need your help to provide opportunities for all students, and we are excited to welcome visitors and volunteers back into the building this year! Please fill out the form below if you can help out in the classroom or school. We will add you to a list and send more details as opportunities come up!

Visitor or Volunteer?

Visitors and Volunteers have different roles according to Columbia Public Schools procedures. We have many opportunities for you to do either or both! Visitors are always supervised by the teacher or other school staff. Volunteers have submitted and passed a background check at the district level.

Visitors - Please mark all opportunities that you are willing to provide support.

Coordinate unit-wide parties (Fall-Oct, Winter-Dec, Valentines-Feb)

Be present and assist with unit-wide parties

Provide supplies for unit-wide parties (snack, craft, and other supplies)

Help with lunch and/or recess

Help with health clinics or picture days (getting students to/from class)

Help in the classroom under supervision of the teacher

Attend a field trip under supervision of the teacher

Help with Field Day (end of May)

Do clerical work

Please mark your calendar for April 22! April 22 is Ridgeway FunDay. This is our one fundraiser for the year, and it is organized by Ridgeway PTSA. Thank you to all parents that joined Ridgeway PTSA and completed PTSA volunteer forms. PTSA committee chairs will be in touch with you about PTSA volunteer opportunities.
