"I am reflecting, I want to return to ML"

Trevor Bauer (32) apologized for his promiscuous personal life involving sexual crimes and expressed his desire to return to the Major League.

According to reports such as Japan's Nikkan Sports, Bauer appeared on Fox News' 'America Newsroom' on the 5th (Korean time) and expressed regret for his past actions and offered his apology.

In June 2021, Bauer became the subject of controversy when he was embroiled in allegations of ‘sexual assault’. Afterwards, the Major League Baseball office sentenced Bauer to a 324-game suspension. Bauer continued to plead not guilty and succeeded in having his suspension reduced to 194 games. However, the LA Dodgers released Bauer.

Bauer, who could no longer play in the United States, turned his attention to Japan. He contacted the Yokohama DeNA Bay Stars, who continued to show interest in him, and signed a one-year contract worth $3 million. He pitched 19 games, 10 wins, 4 losses, and a 2.76 earned run average. He also won the Monthly MVP twice. However, the season ended at the end of August due to injury.
