Fairfax County Special Education PTA is pleased to offer mini grants for SEPTA member teachers or staff to implement programs, attend professional development, or obtain materials designed to support students with disabilities.

Purpose of Project or Supplies:  Please briefly explain the purpose of the project and how it will benefit students with disabilities (ie. to support inclusion, to buy behavior reinforcers, etc.). *
Brief Description of Activities: Please explain the activities you plan to implement or how you plan to use the funds if you receive the funding. *
Who will benefit from this grant? Please briefly describe who will benefit (ie. grade level, CAT A, Cat B, 2e students, etc.). Please do not name individual students. *
Total funds: Amount of mini grant requested and explanation of why this amount is needed. *
Would partial funding be sufficient if there are not enough funds available to fully fund your project? Explain the level of partial funding that would be useful. Please describe also if you have sought additional funding or done other fundraising for this project. *

Terms and Conditions: By checking the box below, you are certifying that you are a current FCPS employee and Fairfax County SEPTA member. You are also agreeing that funds will be spent only on the project as described above and will not be used for food, staff time or staff travel. Documentation of need for funds (ie. conference websites, or links to supplies and costs or other cost information) must be submitted to awards@fairfaxcountysepta.org and approved before funds are distributed. Receipts of expenditures must be submitted within 30 days of expenditure of the funds to awards@fairfaxcountysepta.org.  A report of the outcome, preferably including pictures or video, must be sent at the end of the project to awards@fairfaxcountysepta.org. Videos, pictures, and a description of the project can be used by FC-SEPTA in its social media platforms, emails, website and in other communication methods.  I understand I will have to reimburse FC-SEPTA if I violate these terms and conditions. *
