Exploring our Religious Education Heritage and Identity

The First Parish of Watertown is working with religious education consultant Dr. Michele Townsend Grove in December and January in an effort to explore this congregation’s lifespan religious education heritage, identity and future.  Everyone is welcome to participate in one or more opportunities.  Your perspective and ideas will greatly benefit the congregation as you establish your religious education future and discern the job description and qualities of your next religious education professional.  You are in liminal space and exploring where you have been, where you are now and where you are going will create a strong foundation of lifelong learning.  And it will also be fun!

There are four sessions focused on First Parish’ religious education heritage and identity.  Three of these sessions are for all.  One session is designed specifically for families, religious education leaders, and youth.  You are welcome to attend one or more of these sessions.

The dates for the first round of online sessions are:

Thursday, December 1st  7:00-8:30 PM  Session open to all

Wednesday, December 7th  7:00-8:30 PM Session open to all

Saturday, December 10th 10:00-11:30 AM Session open to all

Sunday, December 11th  Noon – 1:30 PM  Session for families, religious education leaders and youth

Watch for more opportunities coming in January, 2023!
