Two years ago, I, along with my co-host Antonia, started Common Sense Podcast. We documented our entire school year from the beginning of the year to the end. You listened and supported us as we went through the highest of highs and the deepest of lows. After nearly 100,000 listens, with no real marketing or technical skill, I've learned most of all how crucial teachers' stories matter to ourselves and to the greater discourse moving our profession forward.

Podcasts are more than just another piece of media.  But, for educators, it's a living resource for:

(1) Researchers to learn from teachers' experiences and find trends.
(2) Teachers to find community, inspiration to keep going or for a new lesson, etc.
(3) Journalists to gain insight on teachers' opinions and gain information for new stories.
(4) Podcast lovers / People not in Education to gain insight on the latest trends in our  profession directly from folks on the ground
