CACH General Membership 2020
After nearly a year of work, we're pleased to announce a new governance and operational structure for the Capital Area Coalition on Homelessness (CACH).

Under our new structure, "General Members in good standing" will be given the opportunity to nominate and elect the committee chairs and the at-large members for the board of directors.

Before we can seek nominations and hold elections, we must first identify our "Members in good standing".

Criteria for to be considered for a "Member in good standing" will be:

1. Representatives from non-profit homeless assistance providers, victim service providers, faith-based organizations/agencies, government entities, businesses, advocates, public housing agencies, school districts, social service providers, mental health agencies, hospitals, outpatient clinics, universities, affordable housing developers, businesses, law enforcement, organizations that serve veterans, persons who are homeless or formerly homeless in the City of Harrisburg and County of Dauphin, and community volunteers.

2. Representatives whom must attend and participate in at least four (4) standing or general membership committee meetings annually.

Each organization is entitled to ONE (1) vote, regardless of how many individual staff members from that organization participate in CACH activities. Members of the community are also entitled to ONE (1) vote, but cannot vote as both a member of the community and an organizational representative.
