JRF Position in Solid Mechanics Application
Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a DST/SERB sponsored project on understanding the role of hierarchies on property-performance relations in three dimensional lattice structures (also known as cellular solids). For specific details regarding the project, please use the "Questions" box. The initial appointment will be for six months, which may be extended based on performance.
Candidates are expected to have at least a B.Tech (or equivalent) degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied fields. A higher degree (M.Tech/PhD), or prior work experience in the area will be preferable. Knowledge of FE analysis and computational programming is extremely desirable. An advanced degree and prior research experience in the area of solid mechanics with some background of conducting experiments would also be a big plus.
