Celebrate Banned Books Week (September 27 – October 3) by recreating a scene from your favorite banned or challenged children’s or YA book, using marshmallow Peeps and other craft supplies!  

Sign up here for a starter kit (including five Peeps, a box in which to make your scene, additional instructions, and a list of banned and challenged books for inspiration).

Kits are limited, so please consider teaming up with a friend or sibling to put together your scene.  This way, more people will have a chance to participate in the fun!

Kits will be available for pickup between September 13 and September 26 and must be picked up from the Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Central Library.
