We begin each class by diving deeper into discussion of artwork and artists drawn from across time and cultures. We create projects inspired by the themes, techniques, medium, or another aspect of the artwork. We also learn to identify and apply the Elements and Principles of Design in our artwork.
Over the course of the year we will expand our skills with a range of 2D and 3D art media including drawing, painting, collage, printing, building, and clay. In order to dive deeper, we will work on projects over several weeks.
