Brighter Connection Theatre's Summer 2021 Program
BCT will run for 4 weeks this summer, beginning the week of June 22nd. The Youth program (8-14 years old) will rehearse in person on Tuesdays on site while the Young Adults (15 years and up) will do the same on Thursdays. The whole cast will meet virtually on Wednesdays via Zoom. While there will not be an in person audience for separate performances the weekend of July 16, students will meet again on site where their performance will be live streamed for a virtual audience.

Finally, there will be an all virtual option for cast members at the same time on Wednesdays as the hybrid group. They will also be included in the final performances.

Cost: $40

Placement is on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified via email after completion of form of acceptance or placement on the waiting list.

Expectations and procedures regarding COVID-19: All participants will abide by the following Covid19 policies and procedures: Monitoring of temperature daily, mask-wearing at all times unless proof of mask exemption from a doctor is provided, physical distancing of at least 6 feet, eating and drinking will only take place outside near the picnic tables next to Fitz Hall, and cast members will bring only items pre-approved by instructors (for example, sensory toys), in addition to snacks and water. Pre-approved items can not be shared. Parents/guardians/caregivers will not be allowed to stay in the building during rehearsal to wait for their cast member. Instead, cast members will be dropped off and picked up at the front door of Fitz Hall, and instructors will be there to greet cast members at dropoff and to escort them out of the building when rehearsal is over for pickup. Any exceptions to this rule need to be pre-approved by camp directors (for example, if a caregiver needs to remain nearby for a cast participant, arrangements can be made in advance with appropriate safety protocols).
