Vaccination Volunteer Program
The Kent County COVID-19 Church Task Force has launched the Vaccine Volunteer Recruitment Program to support Faith Communities throughout Kent County that have taken the RELIGIOUS CONGREGATION COVID-19 VACCINE PLEDGE to support the work of our local public health systems by working to ensure that all residents have access to the COVID-19 vaccine by:
•
Encouraging vaccination for all members of our congregations and members of our community.
•
Establishing volunteer networks to work with our medical providers to ensure that everyone who is eligible and wants to be vaccinated can receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
•
Provide resources and transportation services to ensure that vulnerable members of our community can safely access existing vaccination locations.
•
Lead by example by ensuring that our congregational leaders personally receive the COVID-19 vaccine and publicly encourage others to do likewise.
By submitting this form your faith community is committing to become a “Community Navigator” and supporting socially vulnerable residents of Kent County navigate the COVID-19 vaccination process.
