INTERN ASSESSMENT GRID BY THE INTERNSHIP SUPERVISOR(TO BE FILLED IN AT THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP)
At the end of the internship, the supervisor provides an assessment of the trainee via a comment grid. It has a twofold objective:

- Evaluative: it gives feedback to the trainee on the quality of his or her performance and is taken into account by the academic promoter to give a final grade to the internship;
- formative: it should enable the trainee to become aware of his or her strengths, progress made and areas where improvement is desirable. In this sense, it serves as a basis for a frank and constructive discussion between the supervisor and the trainee. The supervisor is also invited to comment on his or her assessments in the spaces provided for this purpose in order to give meaning to the quantitative assessments.

This assessment grid contains 20 criteria detailed below and split into the 9 axis of the LSM Competency Framework.

Two final criteria are added in order to complete the assessment.

For each criterion, the internship supervisor should tick the box corresponding to the level achieved by the intern on a scale of five and be ready to give further details on this numerical marking both orally and in writing.

1.  Unsatisfactory: performance does not meet expectations of the host organisation
2. Acceptable: performance meets expectations either minimally or partially
3.  Good: standard performance, meets expectations in a satisfactory way
4.  Very good: stronger performance than generally expected from interns
5.  Excellent: performance greatly exceeding expectations and very rarely observed
N/A  not relevant to what the host organisation expects from the intern
