Each applicant acknowledges and agrees that potential recipients are subject to a background check including, but not limited to an audit of the potential recipients’ social media accounts. Omega Phi Beta Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any applicant based on the results of such background checks.

Potential recipients are also subject to verification, including, but not limited to, verification of age and that they are a legal resident of the U.S.

Awards are non-transferrable and must be accessed and used by the recipient within 90 days following the notification period of the award.

OPBF is required to follow certain procedures and criteria in selecting recipients and determining the amount of an awarded scholarship. Applicants should be aware that simply because an applicant may be eligible for assistance does not guarantee that such eligible applicant will receive any assistance.

OPBF does not discriminate in the selection of recipients on the basis of race, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or upon any other prohibited basis.

Applicants who submit an application certify the information provided on the application is correct to the best of their knowledge. Falsification of information will automatically disqualify applicants from receiving any assistance.
