Thank you for your interest in our Junior Marine Biologist summer camp! The Isabel Sun Memorial scholarship is available for campers ages 6*-17 who meet certain criteria. Isabel Sun loved animals of all kinds and was deeply concerned about their welfare. Visiting the Center inspired her stewardship on behalf of animals and she strived to share her passion with her friends, family and community.

The Isabel Sun Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to children and teens to attend Junior Marine Biologist Summer Camp that are in need of financial assistance. Successful recipients will be students who care about marine life and aspire to help conserve them in the future.

If you feel your child qualifies for a camp scholarship, please fill out the application below for each applicable child and include a letter of recommendation from your child’s teacher or guidance counselor.

Please submit your application electronically no later than Monday, April 29th, 2024 to jmbcamp@marinelife.org. Please note that awards are not guaranteed; scholarship recipients will be notified by Monday, May 13th, 2024 via e-mail.

*6-year-olds must be six by the date of their camp enrollment and have already attended kindergarten
