On 3 July 2024, t
he Cologne Center for Comparative Politics (affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence: ECONtribute) and GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences will host a pre-EPSA workshop on "Multi-data perspectives on democracy".
We invite contributions from scholars working on all issues of democracy, democratic stability, and democratic transitions, and who approach these topics linking multiple types of data (such as surveys, administrative data, geospatial data, digital traces, etc.). We are interested in both comparative and case studies, in both current and historical accounts, as well as in papers on the methodological considerations involved when linking different types of data.
Participation at the EPSA conference is not required to participate in our workshop. Scholars of all career levels are encouraged to apply. There is funding available to cover catering and some travel grants for junior scholars.
The deadline for submissions is 15 March 2024.
