Welcome to Tidbits, an advice column about sewing clothes, patterns and more. You can use the form below to ask questions about sewing, construction, sewing patterns and the business of releasing them. And you can even vent, because things are not always rosy in the world of sewing! I will do my best to answer them in writing, with short tutorials, finding you resources around the internet or asking my sewing friends who might be in a better position to answer.

About me

I'm Delphine, a French sewist of 20 years, blogger since 2013 and the owner of the Indie pattern brand Just Patterns. I live in Paris after spending 11 years working abroad and I'm the mother of a lively 4 year old little human.
Whether in magazines or in newsletters, I have always loved advice columns, my favorite of all times being "Dear Sugar". I love talking about everything related to clothes, sewing, patterns and the business behind it. So I thought it would be fun to start something around my passion for strong opinions and conversations!
