The 2023 Kidz Creek West Preteen Adventure is ON!!!
The preteen adventure is set for April 29-30, 2023!  The purpose of this event is to help our preteens (4th & 5th graders) build relationships with trusted adults from Kidz Creek and with the kidz from their small group.  We will do this by creating an overnight shared experience that allows our preteens and adults have fun together as well as have meaningful conversations in a small group format. In Kidz Creek, we are committed to doing whatever it takes to engage kidz at every phase - birth - 5th grade to help them love God & love people!

Here are the details:

*This year we will stay close by! Hopefully, this will allow kidz (or parents) who are not comfortable with spending the night away from home to participate during the day & MAYBE stay overnight.  Parents are welcome to camp out with us!  Just let us know if you plan to do this.

*We will be doing several activities in Augusta on Saturday. Then we will come back to the Y & participate in their CAMP OUT.  

* Cost is $50 per kid. $25 nonrefundable deposit is required by March 5th. Balance must be paid by April 15th. Payments can be made by cash or check on Sunday mornings or during the week at the CCW office. Or, if you prefer, you can mail a check to Cedar Creek Church West Campus, Attn: Keli Holbrook, 621 Trolley Line Road, Graniteville, SC 29829.

* We will meet at the Cedar Creek West office at 10:00am on Saturday, April 29th. Please feed your child breakfast before you drop them off. All other meals & snacks will be provided.  Please advise us of any food allergies. 

* We will travel in personal vehicles. All volunteers will have a clear background check with driving history.

* We will be able to use the Y's showers so please pack a small overnight bag or backpack and include:  pajamas, toothbrush, towel, 2 changes of clothes (weather appropriate) & undergarments.  

*Please DO NOT send any electronics, mobile phones, extra money, or anything valuable.

*Put all medications in a ziplock bag with child's name written on the outside. Be sure to include written instructions.  

*We will be camping so your child will need a sleeping bag & pillow. In the event of bad weather, we will sleep in Kidz Worship & Wee Worship.  

* Sunday morning all kidz will attend small group at 9:00am & go to the Leadership Room during the 11:00am service. All kidz will need to be picked up no later than 12:15pm on Sunday, April 30th. 

Additional details, including a list of adult volunteers with contact numbers, will be provided prior to the event.
