Who We are 🤝
Partnered under Green Building United, University of
Delaware Water Resources Department and Public Allies, funded by National Fish
and Wildlife Federation (NFWF). To alleviate flooding
through nature based solutions specifically in the
Northeast community
Northeast Rising is a community initiative designed
to be lead by community members and leaders.
Our desire is to have environmentally safe and clean
communities everywhere starting in Northeast Wilmington by addressing the flooding dangers experienced during Hurricane Ida.
