Register Here for the Spring 2023 Extended Training Workshop
This is a longer training offered once per semester. It is required of all tutors. Taught by faculty from the five colleges and local teachers, the ETW equips you as a tutor with tutor strategies, ideas for projects and lessons, the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other tutors and to ask questions related to students you are tutoring. The training lasts 4 hours. Coffee and a small breakfast and full lunch are provided. As with the Overview Training, you will be paid for your hours if you have federal work study. (You must arrive on time and stay through the entire session in order to be paid for your training)

This semester's training will be held on Saturday, March 4th at Furcolo Hall, UMass Amherst. You will receive an email with detailed directions, including bus routes, about a week before the training.
